SEC. 205. CONTROL OF AQUATIC PLANTS. Section 104 of the River and Harbor Act of 1958 (33 U.S.C. 610) is amended— (1) in the first sentence of subsection (a), by striking “water-hyacinth, alligatorweed, Eurasian water milfoil, melaleuca, and other obnoxious aquatic plant growths, from” and inserting “noxious aquatic plant growths from”;113 STAT. 286 (2) in the first sentence of subsection (b), by striking “$12,000,000” and inserting “$15,000,000”; and (3) by adding at the end the following: “(c) Support.—In carrying out the program under this section, the Secretary is encouraged to use contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants with colleges and universities and other non-Federal entities.”.
