SEC. 334. NONCONNAH CREEK, TENNESSEE AND MISSISSIPPI. The project for flood control, Nonconnah Creek, Tennessee and Mississippi, authorized by section 401(a) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (100 Stat. 4124), is modified to authorize the Secretary— (1) to extend the area protected by the flood control element of the project upstream approximately 5 miles to Reynolds Road; and (2) to extend the hiking and biking trails of the recreational element of the project from 8.8 to 27 miles; if the Secretary determines that it is technically sound, environmentally acceptable, and economically justified.
