SEC. 442. SOUTHWEST VALLEY, ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO. Section 433 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1999 (113 Stat. 327) is amended— (1) by inserting “(a) IN GENERAL.—” before “The”; and (2) by adding at the end the following: “(b) Evaluation of Flood Damage Reduction Measures.—In conducting the study, the Secretary shall evaluate flood damage reduction measures that would otherwise be excluded from the feasibility analysis based on policies of the Corps of Engineers concerning the frequency of flooding, the drainage area, and the amount of runoff”.
