SEC. 108. SMALL PROJECTS FOR SNAGGING AND SEDIMENT REMOVAL. The Secretary shall conduct a study for each of the following projects and, if the Secretary determines that a project is feasible, the Secretary may carry out the project under section 2 of the Flood Control Act of August 28, 1937 (33 U.S.C. 701g): (1) Sangamon river and tributaries, riverton, illinois.—Project for removal of snags and clearing and straightening of channels for flood control, Sangamon River and tributaries, Riverton, Illinois. (2) Bayou manchac, louisiana.—Project for removal of snags and clearing and straightening of channels for flood control, Bayou Manchac, Ascension Parish, Louisiana. (3) Black bayou and hippolyte coulee, louisiana.—Project for removal of snags and clearing and straightening of channels for flood control, Black Bayou and Hippolyte Coulee, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.
