SEC. 112. PETALUMA RIVER, PETALUMA, CALIFORNIA. (a) In General.—The Secretary shall carry out the Petaluma River project, at the city of Petaluma, Sonoma County, California, to provide a 100-year level of flood protection to the city in accordance with the detailed project report of the San Francisco District Engineer, dated March 1995, at a total cost of $32,227,000. (b) Reimbursement.—The Secretary shall reimburse the non-Federal interest for any project costs that the non-Federal interest has incurred in excess of the non-Federal share of project costs, regardless of the date on which the costs were incurred. (c) Cost Sharing.—For purposes of reimbursement under subsection (b), cost sharing for work performed on the project before the date of enactment of this Act shall be determined in accordance with section 103(a) of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986 (33 U.S.C. 2213(a)).
