SEC. 328. REMEDIATION OF ASBESTOS AND LEAD-BASED PAINT. (a) Use of Existing Contract Vehicles.—The Secretary of Defense shall give appropriate consideration to existing contract vehicles, including Army Corps of Engineers indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts, to provide for the remediation of asbestos and lead-based paint at military installations within the United States. (b) Selection.—The Secretary of Defense shall select the most cost-effective contract vehicle in accordance with all applicable Federal and State laws and Department of Defense regulations.
