SEC. 111. MULTIYEAR PROCUREMENT AUTHORITY FOR CERTAIN ARMY PROGRAMS. Beginning with the fiscal year 2000 program year, the Secretary of the Army may, in accordance with section 2306b of title 10, United States Code, enter into multiyear contracts for procurement of the following: (1) The Javelin missile system. (2) M2A3 Bradley fighting vehicles. (3) AH–64D Apache Longbow attack helicopters. (4) The M1A2 Abrams main battle tank upgrade program combined with the Heavy Assault Bridge program.
