SEC. 2601. AUTHORIZED GUARD AND RESERVE CONSTRUCTION AND LAND ACQUISITION PROJECTS. (a) Authorization of Appropriations.—There are authorized to be appropriated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1999, for the costs of acquisition, architectural and engineering services, and construction of facilities for the Guard and Reserve Forces, and for contributions therefor, under chapter 1803 of title 10, United States Code (including the cost of acquisition of land for those facilities), the following amounts: (1) For the Department of the Army— (A) for the Army National Guard of the United States, $205,448,000; and (B) for the Army Reserve, $107,149,000. (2) For the Department of the Navy, for the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve, $25,389,000.113 STAT. 841 (3) For the Department of the Air Force— (A) for the Air National Guard of the United States, $253,918,000; and (B) for the Air Force Reserve, $52,784,000. (b) Adjustment.—(1) The amounts authorized to be appropriated pursuant to subsection (a) are reduced as follows: (A) In paragraph (1)(A), by $4,223,000. (B) In paragraph (1)(B), by $2,891,000. (C) In paragraph (2), by $674,000. (D) In paragraph (3)(A), by $5,652,000. (E) In paragraph (3)(B), by $2,080,000. (2) The reductions specified in paragraph (1) represent the combination of project savings in military construction resulting from favorable bids, reduced overhead costs, and cancellations due to force structure changes.
