SEC. 537. ENHANCED DISPOSITION AUTHORITY. Section 204 of the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development, and Independent Agencies Appropriations Act, 1997 (12 U.S.C. 1715z–11a) is amended— (1) by striking “and 1999” and inserting “1999, and 2000”; and (2) by striking “or demolition” and inserting “, demolition, or construction on the properties (which shall be eligible whether vacant or occupied)”.
