SEC. 701. GEORGIA O’KEEFFE STUDY. (a) In recognition of the significant impact Georgia O’Keefee had on the world of art, the Secretary of the Interior is authorized and directed to conduct a study of the most appropriate way to interpret these nationally significant contributions. The study shall include but not be limited to an evaluation of the feasibility of marking and interpreting the landscapes consisting of the scenes and physical features from which Georgia O’Keeffe drew much of her inspiration. (b) The study shall be completed and transmitted to the Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the United States Senate within one year of the date on which funds are appropriated for the study.
