SEC. 632. ELIGIBILITY FOR PAYMENT OF SUBSISTENCE EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH OCCUPANCY OF TEMPORARY LODGING INCIDENT TO REPORTING TO FIRST PERMANENT DUTY STATION. (a) Inclusion of Officers.—Subsection (a)(2)(C) of section 404a of title 37, United States Code, is amended by striking “an enlisted member” and inserting “a member”. (b) Increase in Maximum Daily Authorized Rate.—Subsection (e) of such section is amended by striking “$110” and inserting “$180”. (c) Effective Date; Application.—The amendments made by this section shall take effect on January 1, 2002, and apply with respect to an order issued on or after that date to a member of the uniformed services to report to the member’s first permanent duty station.
