SEC. 574. TRANSPORTATION TO ANNUAL MEETING OF NEXT-OF-KIN OF PERSONS UNACCOUNTED FOR FROM CONFLICTS AFTER WORLD WAR II. (a) Authority for Department of Defense To Provide Transportation.—Chapter 157 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section: “§ 2647. Next-of-kin of persons unaccounted for from conflicts after World War II: transportation to annual meetings “The Secretary of Defense may provide transportation for the next-of-kin of persons who are unaccounted for from the Korean conflict, the Cold War, Vietnam War era, or the Persian Gulf War to and from an annual meeting in the United States. Such transportation shall be provided under such regulations as the Secretary of Defense may prescribe.”. (b) Clerical Amendment.—The table of sections at the beginning of such chapter is amended by adding at the end the following new item: 115 STAT. 1123 “2647. Next-of-kin of persons unaccounted for from conflicts after World War II: transportation to annual meetings.”.
