SEC. 1204. AUTHORITY FOR EMPLOYEES OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CONTRACTORS TO ACCOMPANY CHEMICAL WEAPONS INSPECTION TEAMS AT GOVERNMENT-OWNED FACILITIES. (a) Authority.—Section 303(b)(2) of the Chemical Weapons Convention Implementation Act of 1998 (22 U.S.C. 6723(b)(2)) is amended by inserting after “designation of employees of the Federal Government” the following: “(and, in the case of an inspection of a United States Government facility, the designation of contractor personnel who shall be led by an employee of the Federal Government)”. (b) Credentials.—Section 304(c) of such Act (22 U.S.C. 6724(c)) is amended by striking “Federal government” and inserting “Federal Government (and, in the case of an inspection of a United States Government facility, any accompanying contractor personnel)”.
