QUARTERLY REPORTS.
SEC. 1506. QUARTERLY REPORTS. (a) Quarterly Report.—Promptly after the end of each quarter of a fiscal year, the Secretary of Defense and the Director of Central Intelligence shall each submit to the congressional defense committees a report (in classified and unclassified form, as needed) on the use of funds authorized by this subtitle. Each such report shall, at a minimum, specify the following: (1) Any balance of funds remaining in the Defense Emergency Response Fund as of the end of the quarter covered by the report. (2) The accounts to which funds have been transferred or are to be transferred and the amount of each such transfer. (3) Within such accounts, each project to which any such funds have been transferred or are to be transferred and the amount of funds obligated and the amount expended for each such project as of the end of the quarter covered by the report. (b) Initial Report.—The first report under subsection (a) shall be submitted not later than January 2, 2002. (c) Final Report.—No further report under subsection (a) is required after all funds made available to the Department of Defense pursuant to such Act have been obligated.
