SEC. 1033. ADDITIONAL ELEMENT FOR REVISED NUCLEAR POSTURE REVIEW. Section 1041(b) of the Floyd D. Spence National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2001 (as enacted into law by Public Law 106–398; 114 Stat. 1654A—262) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: “(7) The possibility of deactivating or de alerting nuclear warheads or delivery systems immediately, or immediately after a decision to retire any specific warhead, class of warheads, or delivery system.”.
