ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS.

SEC. 2906. ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS. (a) Agreements Concerning the Environment and Public Health.—The Secretary of the Army and the Secretary of the Interior shall enter into such agreements as are necessary, appropriate, and in the public interest to carry out the purposes of this title. (b) Relation to Other Environmental Laws.—Nothing in this title shall relieve, and no action taken under this title may relieve, the Secretary of the Army or the Secretary of the Interior, or any other person from any liability or other obligation under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (42 U.S.C. 9601 et seq.), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (42 U.S.C. 6901 et seq.) or any other Federal or State law.
