TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION, CENTERVILLE BEACH NAVAL STATION, HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
SEC. 2841. TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION, CENTERVILLE BEACH NAVAL STATION, HUMBOLDT COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. (a) Transfer Authorized.—The Secretary of the Navy may transfer, without reimbursement, to the administrative jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Interior the real property, including any improvements thereon, consisting of the closed Centerville Beach Naval Station in Humboldt County, California, for the purpose of permitting the Secretary of the Interior to manage the real property as open space or for other public purposes. (b) Legal Description.—The exact acreage and legal description of the real property to be transferred under this section shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary of the Navy. The cost of the survey shall be borne by the Secretary of the Interior. (c) Additional Terms and Conditions.—The Secretary of the Navy may require such additional terms and conditions in connection with the transfer under subsection (a) as the Secretary of the Navy considers appropriate to protect the interests of the United States.
