Sec. 588. The Secretary of the Treasury may, to fulfill commitments of the United States, contribute on behalf of the United States to the fifth replenishment of the resources of the International Fund for Agricultural Development. The following amount is authorized to be appropriated without fiscal year limitation for payment by the Secretary of the Treasury: $.30,000,000 for the International Fund for Agricultural Development: Provided, That notwithstanding the dates specified in section 7 of the ExportImport Bank Act of 1945 (12 U.S.C. 635f) and section 1(c) of Public Law 103–428, the Export-Import Bank of the United States shall continue to exercise its functions in connection with and in furtherance of its objects and purposes through March 31, 2002.
