SEC. 610. PARITY IN THE APPLICATION OF CERTAIN LIMITS TO MENTAL HEALTH BENEFITS. (a) In General.—Subsection (f) of section 9812, as amended by the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2002, is amended to read as follows: “(f) Application of Section.—This section shall not apply to benefits for services furnished— “(1) on or after September 30, 2001, and before January 10,2002, and “(2) after December 31, 2003.”. (b) Effective Date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply to plan years beginning after December 31, 2000.116 STAT. 61
