SEC. 3102. EXPORT CREDIT GUARANTEE PROGRAM. (a) Terms of Supplier Credit Program.—Section 202(A) of the Agricultural Trade Act of 1978 (7 U.S.C. 5622(A)) is amended by adding at the end the following: “(3) Extended supplier credits.— “(A) In general.—Subject to the appropriation of funds under subparagraph (B), in carrying out this section, the Commodity Credit Corporation may issue guarantees for the repayment of credit made available for a period of more than 180 days, but not more than 360 days, by a United States exporter to a buyer in a foreign country. “(B) Authorization of appropriations.—There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to fund the additional costs attributable to the portion of any guarantee issued under this paragraph to cover the repayment of credit beyond the initial 180-day period.”. “(b) Processed and High-Value Products.—Section 202(k)(1) of the Agricultural Trade Act of 1978 (7 U.S.C. 5622(k)(1)) is amended by striking “, 2001, and 2002” and inserting “through 2007”. “(b) Report.—Section 202 of the Agricultural Trade Act of 1978 (7 U.S.C. 5622) is amended by adding at the end the following: “(1) Consultation on Agricultural Export Credit Programs.—The Secretary and the United States Trade Representative shall consult on a regular basis with the Committee on Agriculture, and the Committee on International Relations, of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate on the status of multilateral negotiations regarding agricultural export credit programs.”. (d) Reauthorization.—Section 211(b)(1) of the Agricultural Trade Act of 1978 (7 U.S.C. 5641(b)(1)) is amended by striking “2002” and inserting “2007".
