SEC. 4126. AVAILABILITY OF COMMODITIES FOR THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM. (a) In General.—Section 27(a) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 2036(a)) is amended— (1) by striking “1997 through 2002” and inserting “2002 through 2007”; and (2) by striking “$100,000,000” and inserting “$140,000,000”. (b)Effective Date.—The amendments made by this section take effect on October 1, 2001.
