SEC. 7102. GRANTS AND FELLOWSHIPS FOR FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES EDUCATION. Section 1417 of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 (7 U.S.C. 3152) is amended— (1) in subsection (A)— (A) by striking “and” after “economics,”; and (B) by inserting “, and rural economic, community, and business development” before the period; (2) in subsection (b)— (A) in paragraph (1), by inserting “, or in rural economic, community, and business development” before the semicolon; (B) in paragraph (2), by inserting “, or in rural economic, community, and business development” before the semicolon;116 STAT. 432 (C) in paragraph (3), by inserting or teaching programs emphasizing rural economic, community, and business development” before the semicolon; (D) in paragraph (4), by inserting “, or programs emphasizing rural economic, community, and business development,” after “programs”; and (E) in paragraph (5), by inserting “, or professionals in rural economic, community, and business development” before the semicolon; (3) in subsection (d)— (A) in paragraph (1), by inserting “, or in rural economic, community, and business development,” after “sciences”; and (B) in paragraph (2), by inserting “, or in the rural economic, community, and business development workforce,” after “workforce”; and (4) in subsection (1), by striking “2002” and inserting “2007”.
