Sec. 208. (a) Subsection (h) of section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act as amended by section 103 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act Amendments of 1988 is further amended— (1) by striking out “by tribal organization” and inserting in lieu thereof “by a tribal organization”; and (2) by striking out “a tribal organization or a tribal governing body” and inserting in lieu thereof “a tribal organization or the tribal organization’s Indian tribe for purposes of section 102(a) of this Act”. (b) Subsection (j) of section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act as amended by section 103 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act Amendments of 1988 is further amended— (1) by striking out “Secretary the planning” and inserting in lieu thereof “the Secretary for the planning”; and (2) by striking out “no contract” and inserting in lieu thereof “except as provided the last proviso in section 105(a) of this Act, no contract”.
