SEC. 801. FEDERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN ACT OF 1971. (a) Transfer of Functions of Office of Election Administration of Federal Election Commission.—There are transferred to the Election Assistance Commission established undersection 201 all functions which the Office of Election Administration, 116 STAT. 1726established within the Federal Election Commission, exercised before the date of the enactment of this Act. (b) Conforming Amendment.—Section 311(a) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (2 U.S.C. 438(a)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (8), by inserting “and” at the end; (2) in paragraph (9), by striking and” and insertinga period; and (3) by striking paragraph (10) and the second and third sentences.
