SEC. 311. REPORT ON THREATS AND ASSAULTS AGAINST FEDERALLAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, UNITED STATES JUDGES, UNITED STATES OFFICIALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. (a) Repeal of Compilation of Statistics Relating To Intimidation Of Government Employees.—Section 808 of the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996 (Public Law104-132; 110 Stat. 1310) is repealed. (b) Report on Threats and Assaults Against Federal Law Enforcement Officers, United States Judges, United States Officials and Their Families—Not later than 45 days after the end of fiscal year 2002, the Attorney General shall submit to the Chairmen and ranking minority members of the Committees on the Judiciary of the Senate and of the House of Representatives a report on the number of investigations and prosecutions undersection 111 of title 18, United States Code, and section 115 of title 18, United States Code, for the fiscal year 2002.
