SEC. 201. FINDINGS. The Congress finds that— (1) public land in the County contains unique and spectacular natural resources, including— (A) priceless habitat for numerous species of plants and wildlife; and (B) thousands of acres of pristine land that remain in a natural state; (2) continued preservation of those areas would benefit the County and all of the United States by— (A) ensuring the conservation of ecologically diverse habitat; (B) conserving primitive recreational resources; and (C) protecting air and water quality.
