REVISED REQUIREMENTS FOR PLAN FOR MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM.

SEC. 213. REVISED REQUIREMENTS FOR PLAN FOR MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM. (a) Streamlined Contents of Plan.—Subsection (e) of section 2521 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking “prepare a five-year plan” in paragraph (1) and all that follows through the end of subparagraph (B) of paragraph (2) and inserting the following: “prepare and maintain a five-year plan for the program. “(2) The plan shall establish the following: “(A) The overall manufacturing technology objectives, milestones, priorities, and investment strategy for the program. “(B) The specific objectives of, and funding for the program by, each military department and each Defense Agency participating in the program.”. (b) Biennial Report.—Such subsection is further amended in paragraph (3)— (1) by striking “annually” and inserting “biennially”; and (2) by striking “for a fiscal year” and inserting “for each even-numbered fiscal year”.
