Sec. 640. (a) Section 8335(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended by striking the period at the end of the first sentence and inserting: “or completes the age and service requirements for an annuity under section 8336, whichever occurs later.”. (b) The amendment made by subsection (a) takes effect on the date of enactment with regard to any individual subject to chapter 83 of title 5, United States Code, who is employed as an air traffic controller on that date.
