MULTIYEAR PROCUREMENT AUTHORITY FOR E–2C AIRCRAFT PROGRAM.

SEC. 124. MULTIYEAR PROCUREMENT AUTHORITY FOR E–2C AIRCRAFT PROGRAM.(a) Aircraft.—The Secretary of the Navy may, in accordance with section 2306b of title 10, United States Code, enter into a multiyear contract, beginning with the fiscal year 2004 program year, for procurement of E–2C and TE–2C aircraft.(b) Engines.—The Secretary of the Navy may, in accordance with section 2306b of title 10, United States Code, enter into a multiyear contract, beginning with the fiscal year 2004 program year, for procurement of engines for aircraft in the E–2C or TE–2C configuration.(c) Limitation on Term of Contracts.—Notwithstanding subsection (k) of section 2306b of title 10, United States Code, a contract under this section may not be for a period in excess of four program years.
