SEC. 832. ELIMINATION OF ROLE OF OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT.(a) Workforce Qualification Requirements and Examinations.—Section 1725 of such title is repealed.(b) Acquisition Corps Requirements.—Subchapter III of chapter 87 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—(1) in section 1731, by striking subsection (c);(2) in section 1732(c)(2), by striking the second and third sentences;(3) in section 1734(g)—(A) by striking paragraph (2); and(B) in paragraph (1), by striking “(1) The Secretary” and inserting “The Secretary”; and(4) in section 1737, by striking subsection (d).(c) Appointment of Scholarship Recipient in Competitive Service.—Section 1744(c)(3)(A)(i) of such title is amended by striking “and such other requirements as the Office of Personnel Management may prescribe”.
