CONGRESSIONAL NOTIFICATION OF AMENDMENT OR CANCELLATION OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE DIRECTIVE RELATING TO REASONABLE ACCESS TO MILITARY INSTALLATIONS FOR CERTAIN PERSONAL COMMERCIAL SOLICITATION.

SEC. 586. CONGRESSIONAL NOTIFICATION OF AMENDMENT OR CANCELLATION OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE DIRECTIVE RELATING TO REASONABLE ACCESS TO MILITARY INSTALLATIONS FOR CERTAIN PERSONAL COMMERCIAL SOLICITATION. An amendment to Department of Defense Directive 1344.7, “Personal Commercial Solicitation on DoD Installations”, or cancellation of that directive, shall not take effect until the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on which the Secretary of Defense submits to Congress notice of the amendment or cancellation and the reasons therefor.
