Sec. 215. Tualatin River Basin, Oregon. (a) Authorization To Conduct Feasibility Study.—The Secretary of the Interior may conduct a Tualatin River Basin water supply feasibility study—117 STAT. 1852(1) to identify ways to meet future water supply needs for agricultural, municipal, and industrial uses;(2) to identify water conservation and water storage measures;(3) to identify measures that would—(A) improve water quality; and(B) enable environmental and species protection; and(4) as appropriate, to evaluate integrated water resource management and supply needs in the Tualatin River Basin, Oregon.(b) Federal Share.—The Federal share of the cost of the study conducted under subsection (a)—(1) shall not exceed 50 percent; and(2) shall be nonreimbursable and nonreturnable.(c) Activities.—No activity carried out under this section shall be considered a supplemental or additional benefit under Federal reclamation law (the Act of June 17, 1902 (32 Stat. 388, chapter 1093), and Acts supplemental to and amendatory of that Act (43 U.S.C. 371 et seq.)).(d) Authorization of Appropriations.—There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this section $2,900,000, to remain available until expended.
