REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACTUAL LODGING EXPENSES PLUS PER DIEM FOR MEMBERS ENTITLED TO TRAVEL ALLOWANCES

SEC. 612. REIMBURSEMENT FOR ACTUAL LODGING EXPENSES PLUS PER DIEM FOR MEMBERS ENTITLED TO TRAVEL ALLOWANCES (a) Repeal.— Section 614(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987 (Public Law 99–661; 100 Stat. 3879) is repealed. (b) New Effective Date.— (1) The amendments made by section 614(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987 shall be implemented by the Secretaries concerned (as defined in section 101(5) of title 37, United States Code) not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act and shall apply with respect to travel performed on or after the date of implementation. (2) Section 8(a) of the Defense Technical Corrections Act of 1987 (Public Law 100–26; 101 Stat. 284) is amended by striking out “, and such amendments shall be effective as provided in section 614(b) of the Defense Authorization Act”.
