Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Attorney118 STAT. 208 General, shall submit a report to the Committee on Foreign Relations and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate and the Committee on International Relations and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives on the investigation of the murder of United States democracy worker John Alvis. Such report shall include—(1) a description of the steps taken by the Government of Azerbaijan to further such investigation and bring to justice those responsible for the murder of John Alvis;(2) a description of the actions of the Government of Azerbaijan to cooperate with United States agencies involved in such investigation; and(3) any recommendations of the Secretary for furthering progress of such investigation.
