SEC. 207. USE OF SYMBOLS, EMBLEMS, OR NAMES IN REFERENCE TO SOCIAL SECURITY OR MEDICARE.(a) In General.—Section 1140(a)(1) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1320b–10(a)(1)) is amended—(1) in subparagraph (A), by inserting “ ‘Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’,” after “ ‘Health Care Financing Administration’,”, by striking “or ‘Medicaid’, ” and inserting “ ‘Medicaid’, 118 STAT. 513 ‘Death Benefits Update’, ‘Federal Benefit Information’, ‘Funeral Expenses’, or ‘Final Supplemental Plan’,” and by inserting “ ‘CMS’,” after “ ‘HCFA’,”;(2) in subparagraph (B), by inserting “Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services,” after “Health Care Financing Administration,” each place it appears; and(3) in the matter following subparagraph (B), by striking “the Health Care Financing Administration,” each place it appears and inserting “the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services,”.(b) Effective Date.—The amendments made by this section shall apply to items sent after 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
