SEC. 217. RECOMMENDATIONS TO CONGRESS BY COMMANDANT OF THE COAST GUARD. Section 93 of title 14, United States Code, is amended—(1) in paragraph (w) by striking “and” after the semicolon at the end;(2) in paragraph (x) by striking the period at the end and inserting “; and”; and(3) by adding at the end the following:“(y) after informing the Secretary, make such recommendations to the Congress relating to the Coast Guard as the Commandant considers appropriate.”.
