SEC. 222. INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION ALTERNATIVES. The Commandant of the Coast Guard may consult with the Office of Naval Research and other Federal agencies with research and development programs that may provide innovative construction alternatives for the Integrated Deepwater System.
