SEC. 510. REMOVAL OF STATUTORY MILITARY DEPARTMENT CEILINGS ON NUMBER OF ROTC SCHOLARSHIPSSubsection (h) of section 2107 of title 10, United States Code, is amended to read as follows: “(h) Not more than 29,500 cadets and midshipmen appointed under this section may be in the financial assistance programs at 101 STAT. 1088 any one time. The Secretary of Defense shall determine the number of cadets and midshipmen appointed under this section who may be in the financial assistance programs at any one time in each military department.”.
