INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTERS.

SEC. 404. INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTERS. Section 308 of the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (42 U.S.C. 10407) is amended—(1) by striking subsection (b) and inserting the following:“(b) National Resource Center.—The national resource center established under subsection (a)(2)—“(1) shall offer resource, policy, collaboration, and training assistance to Federal, State, and local government agencies, to domestic violence service providers, and to other professionals and interested parties on issues pertaining to domestic violence, including issues relating to children who witness domestic violence; and“(2) shall maintain a central resource library in order to collect, prepare, analyze, and disseminate information and statistics, and analyses of the information and statistics, relating to the incidence and prevention of family violence (particularly the prevention of repeated incidents of violence) and the provision of immediate shelter and related assistance.”; and(2) by striking subsection (g).
