AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 117. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.(a) General Authorization.—Section 112(a)(1) of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (42 U.S.C. 5106h(a)(1)) is amended to read as follows:“(1) General authorization.—There are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this title $120,000,000 for fiscal year 2004 and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 2005 through 2008.”.(b) Demonstration Projects.—Section 112(a)(2)(B) of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (42 U.S.C. 5106h(a)(2)(B)) is amended—117 STAT. 813(1) by striking “Secretary make” and inserting “Secretary shall make”; and(2) by striking “section 106” and inserting “section 104”.
