SEC. 623. PERMANENT INCREASE IN AUTHORIZED AMOUNTS FOR IMMINENT DANGER SPECIAL PAY AND FAMILY SEPARATION ALLOWANCE.(a) Imminent Danger Pay.—(1) Subsection (e) of section 310 of title 37, United States Code, is amended by striking “December 31, 2004” and inserting “December 31, 2005”.(2) Effective January 1, 2006, such section is further amended—(A) in subsection (a), by striking “$150” and inserting “$225”; and(B) by striking subsection (e).(b) Family Separation Allowance.—(1) Subsection (e) of section 427 of such title is amended by striking “December 31, 2004” and inserting “December 31, 2005”.(2) Effective January 1, 2006, such section is further amended—(A) in subsection (a)(1), by striking “$100” and inserting “$250”; and(B) by striking subsection (e).118 STAT. 1956
