SEC. 2846. JURISDICTION AND UTILIZATION OF FORMER PUBLIC DOMAIN LANDS, UMATILLA CHEMICAL DEPOT, OREGON.(a) Retention of Jurisdiction.—The various parcels of real property consisting of approximately 8,300 acres within the boundaries of Umatilla Chemical Depot, Oregon, that were previously withdrawn from the public domain are no longer suitable for return to the public domain and shall remain under the administrative jurisdiction of the Secretary of the Army.(b) Utilization.—The Secretary shall combine the real property described in subsection (a) with other real property comprising the Umatilla Chemical Depot for purposes of their management and disposal pursuant to title II of the Defense Authorization Amendments and Base Closure and Realignment Act of 1988 (Public Law 100–526; 10 U.S.C. 2687 note) and other applicable law.
