Sec. 347. (a) Short Title. —This section may be cited as the “Chris Zajicek Memorial Land Exchange Act of 2004”.(b) National Forest System Land Exchange in the State of Florida.—(1) In general.—Notwithstanding the effect of the wildfire known as the “Impassable 1 Fire” on the value of the land to be exchanged, the Secretary of Agriculture (acting through the Chief of the Forest Service) may carry out the exchange agreement entered into by the Forest Service and the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida and dated March 5, 2004.(2) Valuation.—For purposes of determining the value of the land to be exchanged under paragraph (1), the value of the land shall be considered to be the value of the land determined by the appraisal conducted on August 21, 2003.
