Sec. 1. Gross Rate of Compensation in Offices of Senators. Effective on and after October 1, 2004, each of the dollar amounts contained in the table under section 105(d)(1)(A) of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 1968 (2 U.S.C. 61–1(d)(1)(A)) shall be deemed to be the dollar amounts in that table, as adjusted 118 STAT. 3169 by law and in effect on September 30, 2004, increased by an additional $50,000 each.
