Sec. 1102. (a) The Comptroller General shall conduct an analysis of the operations of the Office of the Architect of the Capitol, and shall include in the analysis recommendations regarding the extent to which the functions and duties of the Architect of the Capitol may be carried out more effectively through contracts with private entities, through reassignment to other entities of the legislative branch, and through such other methods as the Comptroller General considers appropriate.(b) Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Comptroller General shall submit a report on the analysis conducted under subsection (a) to the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and Senate.
