SEC. 1242. TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO THE COAST GUARD Of the amounts appropriated to the Department of Defense for fiscal years 1988 and 1989, the Secretary of Defense shall transfer to the Secretary of Transportation funds to assist in providing for the Law Enforcement Detachment program of the Coast Guard as follows: (1) $3,000,000 from amounts appropriated for fiscal year 1988. (2) $6,000,000 from amounts appropriated for fiscal year 1989.
