SEC. 308. CROSS-REFERENCE AMENDMENTS RELATING TO CONCURRENT PAYMENT OF RETIRED PAY AND VETERANS’ DISABILITY COMPENSATION. (a) Prohibition Against Duplication of Benefits.—Section 5304(a)(1) is amended by inserting “as provided in section 1414 of title 10 or” after “Except”.(b) Waiver of Retired Pay.—Section 5305 is amended by striking “Any” in the first sentence and inserting “Except as provided in section 1414 of title 10, any”.
