SEC. 7206. IMMIGRATION SECURITY INITIATIVE.(a) In General.—Section 235A(b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1225a(b)) is amended—(1) in the subsection heading, by inserting “and Immigration Security Initiative” after “Program”; (2) by striking “Attorney General” and inserting “Secretary of Homeland Security”; and(3) by adding at the end the following: “Beginning not later than December 31, 2006, the number of airports selected for an assignment under this subsection shall be at least 50.”.(b) Authorization of Appropriations.—There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Homeland Security to carry out the amendments made by subsection (a)—(1) $25,000,000 for fiscal year 2005;(2) $40,000,000 for fiscal year 2006; and(3) $40,000,000 for fiscal year 2007.
