SEC. 1203. TREATMENT FOR NEEDS-BASED BENEFITS PURPOSES OF AMOUNTS RECEIVED UNDER AGENT ORANGE LITIGATION SETTLEMENT. Any payment received by any person pursuant to the settlement in the case of In re Agent Orange Product Liability Litigation in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (MDL No. 381) shall be treated for purposes of laws administered by the Veterans’ Administration as reimbursement for prior unreimbursed medical expenses, and no such payment shall be countable as income for any such purpose.
