SEC. 1508. STANDARDIZATION OF COVERAGE OF MEDICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL ITEMS. Section 402 of the Veterans’ Benefits and Services Act of 1988 (Public Law 100–322; 102 Stat. 543) is amended in the first sentence by striking out “medical and pharmaceutical items” and inserting in lieu thereof “health-care items (as defined in section 5025(e)(1) of title 38, United States Code)”.
